Angelica Nappi was a 9th grader at Sachem North when she passed away after being involved in a tragic car accident on February 19, 2008. Angelica was a fun-loving, spirited young lady, who lived a faithful Christian life. An honor roll student, she was smart, caring and kind and always tried her best. She was a praise dancer for Abundant Joy Ministry, where she attended weekly services. She also belonged to an international praise dance team, “The Tribe of Judah,” and danced for Ginny Santangelo Dance Studio, as well. Angelica loved to sing and laugh. Her joy for life was radiated in her beautiful, contagious smile. A devoted friend, she was always willing to offer help or advice when needed.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

– have a “B” average or better

– be active in church and live a Christian life

Scholarship Requirements:

– an essay (max 2 pages) double-spaced using size 12 font that answers the following questions: “What are your major priorities in life? What are your beliefs in life that define you as a person?”

– three (3) letters of recommendation: two from teachers and one from the pastor/priest of your church
